About me

My life has taken a wonderful turn down a path many fear to travel, yet regret not taking it. A couple months ago, on April 30th, I gave 3 weeks notice at the company I founded. I was nervous, anxious, excited, scared, and happy all mixed up. Amy (my girlfriend) and I plan to move to California after we travel Europe for an undetermined number of months. The root of the decision was to move to the California (the Bay is my home town), but we seized the opportunity to leave everything and travel while we were both funemployed. I can now confirm, 2 months into the journey, that this was a great decision!

All I have now is my backpack and carry-on. While I am writing this, we have been traveling for 2 months and are planning to keep going for many more. This is the first time I had really reduced my life to a couple bags. It is quite an experience to go through everything you own and fit the true essentials into a couple bags you can carry. Yes, I feel lighter and minimalist now that I have shed several hundred pounds (not counting my car and motorcycle), but more importantly I made sure I didn't leave anything of mine behind in Boston so that I can keep my eyes on the road ahead.

Between my Youtube channel and this Blog, I hope to share my travels with you, and keep a record for me to look back on once I have completed this journey. Enjoy!
